What is "Cosplay"? It's a portmanteau word--a combination of "costume" and "play". To put it simply, it's a hobby where people dress up as various characters, usually from Japanese animations and games. A whole community and art form has spawned around this, cosplay videography and photography being just a few examples of the bunch. If you're interested, I'd definitely advise you take a trip to Google. There's definitely a lot to learn about cosplay culture, and I personally find it absolutely fascinating.
